IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE IN DED/JBT HARYANA 2011

1. The candidates should apply only on the application form prescribed for their own categories otherwise this will not be entertained.

2. Do not forget to mention the stream (Arts/Science/Commerce/Voc.) in the application form as well as on the envelope.
3. Do not forget to affix your photograph and put your signature on application form.
4. Incomplete application form will summarily be rejected and no correspondence,whatsoever will be entertained in this regard. The form will also be rejected if any information given in it is found to be incorrect or ambiguous or contradictory.

Documents (to be submitted at the time of Admission/Counselling)

The Candidates should bring all Original certificates/documents with attested copies of the testimonials at the time of Admission/Counselling along with two latest passport size photographs. They will also be required to submit the following documents. Candidate should retain the photocopy of the Application Form (duly filled in by the candidate)
(1) Photocopy of the Application Form retained by the candidate.
(2) Attested photocopy of Haryana Resident Certificate issued by the competent authority. In case of candidate who has passed Secondary and Senior Secondary Exam from a school situated in Haryana will, however, not be required to produce a Resident Certificate. For this purpose a certificate issued by the Principal/Headmaster of the concerned institution will be sufficient (See Annexure-II)

(3)(a) Attested photocopy of 10+2/Sr.Secondary School Certificate issued by Board.
(b) Attested photocopy of the secondary certificate as a documentary proof of age and subject passing Hindi/Sanskrit.
(c) For candidates seeking admission in D.Ed (Urdu) : Attested photocopies of Secondary/High School certificate passing Urdu as one subject issued by the Board.
(d) Attested copy of the certificate of good conduct issued by the Principal/Head of School/College/ Institution last attended or any Gazzetted Officer of Haryana State.
(e) Only one attested photocopy of the following certificates (belonging to reserve categories) is to be submitted alongwith the original certificates at the time of Admission/Counselling.

(i) For the candidates belonging to SC/BCA/BCB. Attested copy of certificate issued
by the concerned S.D.O. (Civil)/competent authority.
(ii) For the candidates belonging to backward classes: attested copy of certificate issued by the concerned SDO (Civil)/competent authority to the effect that they do not belong to socially advanced groups/sections (Creamy layer) as per instructions of Haryana Govt.
(iii) For Ex-servicemen: A fresh certificate from the Zila Sainik/ District Sailors and Soldiers Board.
(iv) For the candidate applying under orthopedically handicapped category: A copy of medical certificate from the Civil Surgeon of the District concerned. The disability should not be less than 40%.

(v) For children or grandchildren (Maternal/Paternal) claiming the benefit of freedom fighter: The certificate from Chief Secretary Haryana and relationship certificate from the Deputy Commissioner concerned.

Note:
1. Admission of candidates who fulfill all eligibility conditions shall be made on the basis of relative merit (streamwise) on the basis of marks obtained in aggregate including English in 10+2 examination. In case of reserved seats, relative merit of the candidates shall be determined within each category of reservation opted by him/her in the application form. The merit will be prepared streamwise-categorywise.Therefore, the candidate belonging to reserved category should carefully indicate his/her
claim for the reserved category and stream in the application form. No claim for change of category/stream will be entertained at any later stage. The claim will not be entertained for such candidates, whose reserved category certificates are found incomplete or have not been issued by the competent authority.

2. In case any candidate is found to have furnished false/fake information or certificate etc. or is found to have withheld/concealed information in his/her application form,his/her candidature for admission will be cancelled and legal proceedings will be initiated against such candidate.
