Regarding appointment of Lecturers in B.Ed. Colleges under Self Finance Scheme.Procedure to be followed for appointment of teachers in selffinanced Colleges of Education for the academic session 2011-12 as under-All the vacancies may be advertised in two National Newspapers (one each in English & Hindi) having wider circulation, specifying the following qualifications i.e. NET/SLET/Ph.D. in Education and specialisation etc.(i) M. Ed./M.A. (Education) with minimum 55% marks and B. Ed. Or Master’s Degree in a school subject with minimum 50% marks and M.Ed. /M.A. Education with 55% marks and B. Ed. (ii) Two years school teaching experience is desirable.(iii) NET/SLET/Ph. D. in Education.Note:-1) A relaxation of 5% may be provided from 55% to 50% marks at the Master’s level for the SC/ST category.2) B in the 7 point scale with letter grade O, A, B, C, D and
F shall be regarded as equivalent of 55% wherever the grading system is followed.2. All the applicants shall endorse a copy of the application to the Dean of Colleges,Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa. The College/institute shall consult the office of the Dean of Colleges for fixation of interview and constitution of selection committee.3. The NET/SLET/Ph.D. qualified candidates should not be ignored. After the interview, if NET/SLET/Ph.D. candidates are not available, then the vacancies may be re-advertised. To avoid the procedural delay, the appointments may be made through Walk-in-Interview by the prescribed Selection Committee at second time by inviting fresh applications with the stipulation that in case, the eligible candidates are not available, then the candidates
having M.Phil. will be considered only for one academic session i.e. 2011-12.
Priority may always be given to NET/SLET/Ph. D. candidates. 4. As per directions of the Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh in a number of cases regarding selection of Teaching Associates in this university, NET/SLET/Ph.D. qualified
candidates should always be given preference over others and the conditionally approved teachers already appointed as an adhoc arrangement, may not be replaced with other unqualified candidate(s).
